Battle at Butler

The Battle of Butler is a Ryder Cup–style golf match between the Texas Cowboys and the Silver Spurs—two of the most historic service organizations at the University of Texas. For the first time ever, these groups go head-to-head at the iconic Butler Pitch & Putt, bringing alumni and active members together for an afternoon that’s competitive, social, and rooted in tradition.

Both organizations are known for firing Smokey the Cannon and caring for Bevo, but the Battle of Butler is about more than that. It’s about reconnecting with people, enjoying a great setting, and having some fun while competing for charity dollars—with golf, live music, food, drinks, and a laid-back Austin atmosphere.

Texas Cowboys Annual Reunion Weekend

Join us on Friday, November 8th for an evening cocktail reception from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Headliners Club. Come and go as you please.

We understand that many of you have other commitments, so you are not committing staying the entire 3 hours, although you are welcome to do so! This cocktail reception is for Cowboys and Sweethearts only. We respectfully request that you not invite or take additional guests. We expect this to be a great time to connect or reconnect with Cowboys and Sweethearts.

Please RSVP for the Evening Cocktail Reception by Noon on Tuesday, November 5th.
Only those attending need RSVP; regrets not necessary.

Harvest Moon Fundraiser Benefiting The Arc

Each fall, the Texas Cowboys at The University of Texas at Austin hosts an event called Harvest Moon, a concert benefiting The Arc of the Capital Area.  The Arc of the Capital Area, a nonprofit organization, is committed to empowering Central Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through compassionate case management and innovative programs.

Help us in fundraising this fall as we look forward to a great event featuring artists Cody Johnson and Parker McCollum. The Arc is the sole recipient of the proceeds of Harvest Moon. Donations accepted through Friday, November 17, 2017.
