The Texas Cowboys Spring BBQ

Continuing off the success of last year’s Spring BBQ , we’re excited to announce the 2026 Spring BBQ! One of the two main yearly events hosted by the Texas Cowboys, Spring BBQ is a philanthropy event run every spring, and this year will benefit the UT Elementary School System (UTES).

This year we’ve partnered with UT Athletic’s Spring Game on April 18th. Amid the Spring Game events and excitement outside of DKR, we are hosting our Spring BBQ across the street in the
Texas Exes Alumni Center & Texas Cowboys pavilion.

UTES is just one school out of the entire UT Charter School System, and primarily serves the East Austin community with free PreK-5th grade education, using some of the most advanced research on teaching and learning effectiveness from the University of Texas. In other words, it is one of the most powerful forces in Austin that is actively helping change the trajectory of Austin children, who need it most, every single day.
